So it's raining tonight. Finally after having days of heat, it feels like winter instead of summer tonight. I feel so warm and cozy in my bed, watching some tv. I had a desire to write tonight so here I am. There is a new collection coming out on the 12th...one that I have been waiting for quite some time. Mac + Hello Kitty :) Two of my obsessions coming together to drain my wallet... Although I must say, the packaging is not what I thought it would be, but it's still extremely cute. I'm thinking about getting my nails done later on this week with an outline of hello kitty..but we'll see.

I'm thinking about re-organizing my makeup collection, Im actually running out of room for all my stuff, and since it's not out there for me to use, it's just collecting dust...I wish I could take off a good week, you know spend a day just vegging out in pj's, watching tv and munching on some goodies, and then spend the rest of the week, cleaning and organizing my room, my shoes, my makeup, cleaning my car, so on... It seems I never have the time nor the energy to do those things. There are so many things I love doing but never actually do. Are you the same as well ? Is there things you really truly love doing, yet never seem to have the time to do them ? Well, I'll be updating as soon as I get my goodies from MAC...

MAC HAUL

So today I stopped into MAC @ Macy's, just to take a look at the new collection...ok not to "just take a look" I had a feeling I would pick up most of the items...but anyway, I stopped in and it was pretty early, there weren't alot of customers so I had free space to really look at the collection, and let me just say the collection is gorgeous! I picked up all the eyeshadows, 1 lipglass, 3 lipsticks, and 1 mineralize skinfinish. The lipglass I chose was "Red Devil" Since I really don't have anything similar to that. I picked up 3 lipsticks, one in "Blowdry", one in "B-BABE", and one in "Marquise D'". However I did back 2 MAC for those so yay :)
I cannot wait to see what different looks I can come up with using all these shadows...especially one called 100 strokes, it's like sketch mixed with beauty marked. It's stunning really... I really promise myself not to buy anything else until the hello kitty collection comes out...I can't really afford to at this point...unless I wanna be homeless with boxes of MAC to keep me company.

My makeup today...

Today was a good day. I actually some time to do my hair and makeup before heading out to work. Today I pulled my hair back and left a little pouf in the front, put on a pale creamy peach color on the inner corner / tear duct area of my eyes, applied a dark navy blue on the lid, and a shimmery brown in the crease. I applied the same pale creamy peach as a highlight since it's matte, and blended it all into perfection. I found this new collection from Revlon while browsing through CVS with my mom the other day, it's called Revlon Matte Collection. I'm always appealed by matte colors because they tend to be more flattering on me. Anyway the collection is pretty impressive for a drugstore brand, it has the pale creamy peach, a royal blue, a pretty teal, and a dark burgundy, along with several matte lipsticks, and some eyeliners. It's worth taking a peak at, especially one of the matte lipsticks called Nude Attitude. If you're a fan of matte nude colors, that one is a must have ! Especially paired with a dark smokey eye. I do have to start using the makeup that I own instead of wondering what Im gonna buy next...

MAC Brunette, Blonde, Redhead Collection

So MAC has another collection coming out, based on hair color. Shades of eyeshadows, lipglasses, MSF's ( mineralize skinfinishes) that will compliment your particular hair color. Now most of the MACheads in the world, will get every color combination regardless of the color of hair. So I'm a redhead, and yes while looking at the photos of the collection for redheads, I feel those would be very complimenting to my hair and skin tone, but then I glance over at the Blonde collection...and see things I could easily pull off as well. So when shopping for particular collections such as this one, go for what you like, not what a company says would flatter you !! I am extremely tempted to rush into MAC on the 8th which I believe is the release date, and just buy every single beautiful item in the collection...however my wallet disagrees with me. Especially since my latest Dame Edna and Chill purchases ! MAC shouldn't bring out so many collections back to back, because for people like me, who truly like collecting these products, it takes a bit of time to save for each collection, and they way they are pumping them out, I dont seem to have time to save at all...well here are a few pics of the collection to drool over...If there are any updates or shopping I'll be updating !
